Journey book

First in the series is JOURNEY INTO SPACE with a foreword by NASA Astronaut Jack Lousma (Skylab 3, STS-3).  Based upon our most popular presentation AT HOME IN SPACE.  This title features the reality of living and working in space.  Also included are interactive activities, website links and a gallery of the first international citizens into space and pioneering space explorers.  An introduction to the series, this book also includes facts about entering space as well as coming home and the use of space technology spinoffs which benefit all of us here on earth.

Between October 2008 and December 2012 the 40th anniversaries of the eleven manned Apollo missions occur. Apollo was the programme that took the first men to the Moon .In recognition of these historic missions in space exploration AIS is releasing a series of A5 data cards in colour that detail each of these flights from Apollo 7 through to Apollo 17. Additional cards on each of the Apollo astronauts and several special cards covering the spacecraft, launch vehicles and other important aspects of the programme will be released to build into an impressive collection that will be fun to own, and useful in the classroom recollecting a magical time when men first left Earth and set foot on the dusty surface of another world........
