CAREER

1985-1991: Completed a special course on internal medicine and served as a Chief specialist at VeteransHospital in Chicago, and completed an aerospace medicine

1991-2000: worked at NASA JSC in the Life Sciences Office working on subsystems for Space Station Freedom; as a Surgeon in the Shuttle Medical Operations Office; at TsPK Russia for 12 months supporting Mir-18/STS-71 missions; as medical lead for ISS and as lead crew surgeon for the ISS-Expedirion1 crew.

2009: ISS Resident crew training; (26.03) launched on TMA-14 as FE; ISS-19 FE; (05.06) EVA 4hr 54 min; (10.06) IVA 12 min; (11.10) landed in TMA-14 (4768 hr 42 min); (19.09) named MS STS-133; ISS post-flight adaptation then shuttle mission training
