1988-1996: Operations Engineer in the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF), NASA Kennedy Space Center, Florida; held various positions within Shuttle processing team including Vehicle Operations Engineer, Convoy Commander, Shuttle flow director for OV-105 Endeavour, Orbiter Project Engineer for OV-102 Columbia

1996-1998: NASA Project Lead for ISS Truss elements, Space Station Hardware Integration Office, KSC, detailed to Boeing Space Station Facility, Huntington Beach, California

1998-2000: Flight Simulation Engineer on the Shuttle Training Aircraft, Aircraft Operations Division, NASA JSC Houston, Texas 

ASTRONAUT ASSIGNMENTS

2000:   (26.07) Named as one of 17 Group 18 astronaut candidate; Mission Specialist candidate; (Aug) commenced a two-year Ascan training and evaluation programme; Ascan training

2006:   (Apr) crewmember/aquanaut NEEMO 9, completed an 18 day residency on Aquarius undersea      habitat

2008:   (12.02) Named FE ISS-19 (up on STS-128); ISS expedition training; (May) reassigned to ISS      -20/21; (21.11) assignment to ISS-20/21 confirmed up on STS-128 down on Soyuz TMA (later return STS-129 final Shuttle crew rotation); ISS expedition training

2009:   ISS expedition training; (29.08) launched as MS5 STS-128; (30.08) do0cked to ISS and               transferred to ISS-20 crew replacing Kopra; (01.09) EVA 6 hr 35 min; IN SPACE
