ASTROFILE

This section is where we will be adding the stories, profiles, mission reports and data on the early (pre-Shuttle) years of human space flight. The options below will be expanded or made accessible as we add more articles.

These profiles are filed in the AIS Archive and are compiled from information gathered over many years, with the assistance of several colleagues and the following space agencies: NASA, ESA, CSA, JAXA, RSA. In addition, we express our thanks to the publication Aviation Week & Space Technology (AWST), the archives of the British Interplanetary Society (BIS), the USAF, USN and USMC, as well as the websites spacefacts.de and astronote.ru, among others.
